Bob Gunther Tony Cornish Gary Schindler

Unlike our previous entries, today we're highlighting three candidates that are running for election in three different districts. The candidates are Rep. Bob Gunter (District 23A), Rep. Tony Cornish (District 23B) and Gary Schindler (District 27A). We aren't featuring their opponents in any of these races because none of them responded to the questionaires we sent out.

Candidates & Biofuels

- He would choose E10 or a higher blend of ethanol over non-oxygenated fuel.

- He would choose E15 over E10.

- He would oppose measures to scrap the RFS.

- He would oppose measures to scrap Minnesota's Petroleum Displacement Law.

- He would support a standalone bill to fixing the RVP problem so that E15 can be sold during the summer months. He would also support actions to call the EPA to take administrative action to bring RVP parity to E15 and measures requiring gasoline blendstocks with a lower RVP to be used thus eliminating the need for a waiver for both E10 and E15.

- He would support measures to fund infrastructure to increase availability of E85.

- He wants every station to have a blender pump.

- He would support accelerating the permitting process for the installation of equipment to improve ethanol production and reduce emissions.
