Just weeks after running an anti-ethanol editorial riddled with misleading information and shoddy journalism, USA Today ran an another anti-ethanol piece this week, only this time it was in the form of an "analysis" by its financial news content partner, The Motley Fool. And like its aforementioned editorial, the analysis by The Motley Fool played loose with the facts and contained erroneous information.

Corn ethanol is and will play an integral role in the development of the cellulosic ethanol industry, said centrist think tank, Third Way, in a report last week.

House Bill To Expand RVP To E15 Introduced

Earlier this month, Senators Chuck Grassley and Rand Paul introduced a bill that would extend the reid vapor pressure (RVP) waiver to E15. Now, a similar bill has emerged at the House courtesy of Rep. Adrian Smith of Nebraska.

A new report by the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association (IRFA) says Iowans could stand to save up to $50 million a year if 80 percent of fuel consumed there was E15. This in turn poses the question : How much Minnesotans save if all gasoline (E10) consumed was E15?

Houston, TX-based automotive tuner, Serious Horsepower Performance has converted the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat to run on E85 which in turn has increased the car's power output to 753 hp from 707 hp.

Pressure on the EPA to extend the reid vapor pressure (RVP) waiver to E15 is mounting. Yesterday, Iowa Congressman, Rod Blum, introduced a companion bill to the one sponsored by Senators Rand Paul and Chuck Grassley that seeks to remove a major stumbling block in expanding access to E15.
