During the tour, the students learned about the various stages of ethanol production including incoming grain grading, grain handling, fermentation, grain storage, dried distillers grain production and storage, liquefaction and ethanol storage and shippment. 

The students were also briefed on ethanol usage at 10 percent and 15 percent blends as well as potential career opportunities in the ethanol industry.
