The volume sold in April was 20 percent higher the volume sold in April 2023 (9.34 million gallons). 

Moreover, the volume sold in April is the highest recorded so far in 2024. The previous high was 10.98 million gallons in March. It should be noted, however, that 342 stations reported their Unleaded 88 sales in March compared to 335 stations in April. 

The highest monthly total ever recorded in Minnesota was 11.98 million gallons in August of 2023. 

The volume in April was also the 12th consecutive month Unleaded 88 sales in Minnesota was over the 10-million-gallon mark. 

On a cumulative basis, 43.31 million gallons of Unleaded 88 was sold over the first four months of 2024, up 17 percent compared to the same period in 2023 (37.03 million gallons).
