According to data from the Minnesota Department of Commerce, this represented a 16 percent increase from the volume sold over the same period in 2023 (27.69 million gallons).

In March, nearly 11 million gallons of Unleaded 88 was sold (10.98 million gallons). This was 17 percent higher than the volume sold in March 2023 (9.38 million gallons). 

Unleaded 88 sales in March was also higher than the 10.26 million gallons sold in February this year. 

In fact, the volume sold in March was the highest recorded so far in 2024 (January’s volume was 10.86 million gallons). 

Moreover, the 10.98 million gallons sold in March was the 11th consecutive month where Unleaded 88 sales were above the 10-million-gallons mark. 

2023 was a record year for E15 sales in Minnesota with 127.53 million gallons sold, 21 percent higher than the volume sold in 2022.
