In addition, the department of commerce has revised the sales data for June, July and August. For June, 10.02 million gallons was sold instead of 9.99 million gallons as previously reported while the volumes for July and August have been revised upwards to 10.1 million gallons and 10.44 million gallons from 10.05 million gallons and 10.22 million gallons respectively.
With these new volumes, E15 sales in Minnesota exceeded the 10-million-gallon mark for four straight months (May, June, July and August).
The volume sold in September (9.76 million gallons) was slightly lower than the 10.44 million gallons recorded in August but 3 percent higher than the volume sold in September 2022 (9.48 million gallons).
On a nine-month cumulative basis, 87.15 milion gallons of E15 was sold in Minnesota this year, 14 percent higher than the 76.42 million gallons sold over the same period last year.
