Furthermore, the Department of Commerce has also revised the volume sold in June to 9.93 million gallons from the 9.73 million gallons it previously reported.

While the volume sold in July was slightly lower than the volume sold in June, it should be noted that only 266 stations reported their sales in July compared to 284 in June. In fact, the average volume sold per station in July was 37,013 gallons compared to 34,982 gallons in June. 

On a year-on-year basis, E15 sales in July 2023 was 6.5 percent higher than July 2022 (9.24 million gallons).

The volume sold in July was the 15th consecutive month E15 sales in Minnesota have exceeded the 8-million-gallon mark and the fifth consecutive month it has been above 9 million gallons.

On a cumulative basis, 66.47 million gallons of E15 was sold in Minnesota this year, 16 percent higher than the 57.34 million gallons sold over the same period in 2022.
