According to the latest date from the Minnesota Department of Commerce, E15 sales in April in Minnesota totaled 7.35 million gallons.
While the volume in April was slightly lower than the 7.76 million gallons registered in March, it should be noted that only 235 stations in Minnesota reported their sales in April compared to 267 in March.
In fact, the average volume per station in April was at 31,318 gallons compared to 29,071 gallons in March.
Additionally, the volume sold in April this year was 13.25 percent higher than the solume sold in April last year (6.49 million gallons).
Cumulatively, 29.87 million gallons of E15 was sold in the first four months of the year.
Meanwhile, sales of E85 in Minnesota jumped to 1.2 million gallons in April from 797,713 gallons in March. In total, 3.59 million gallons of E85 was sold in the first four months of 2022.
