The 86.65 million gallons sold in 2021 also exceeded the previous record of 78.52 million gallons in 2019. 

In December, 7.7 million gallons of E15 was sold, marginally higher than the 7.6 million gallons sold in November.

Additionally, the volume sold in December was the eight consecutive month E15 sales in Minnesota exceeded 7 million gallons - another new record.

The volume sold in October was the highest for the year at 7.99 million gallons followed by 7.93 million gallons sold in August.

Meanwhile, 11.96 million gallons of E85 was sold in 2021, up 5 percent from the 11.4 million gallons sold in 2020.
