The plant, which has a production capacity of 48 million gallons of ethanol a year, is Greenfield Global's first ethanol plant in the United States.

Operations at the plant commenced on Nov 2. 

The plant, formerly Corn Plus, was acquired by Greenfield Global In October 2020. 

Earlier in June this year, Greenfield Global entered into an agreement with Central Farm Service (CFS) for the supply of corn for its Winnebago plant. The partnership between the two companies also includes an offtake agreement for DDGS produced by Greenfield Global.
