The department reported today that E15 sales in July was 6.82 million gallons. The highest E15 volume ever recorded in Minnesota was in May 2019 at 6.98 million gallons. 

At 6.82 million gallons, the cumulative volume of E15 sold in the state during first seven months of the year amounted to 43.58 million gallons. In 2018, the total volume sold was 59.4 million gallons. 

The volume in July was also 7.7 percent higher than the 6.33 million gallons sold in June. 

It should be noted that the Commerce Department may eventually revise July's volume upwards as there were fewer stations reporting in July compared to May. 

As for other blends of ethanol, the department's data shows E85 sales in July totaled 1.34 million gallons, bringing the total sold this year (as of Jul 31) at 8.44 million gallons.
