In May, the volume of E15 sold in Minnesota was 6.36 million gallons, the highest monthly volume recorded so far this year.

May's sales were also slightly higher than the 6.28 million gallons recorded in April. 

Moreover, the volume in May was the third consecutive month this year where E15 sales in Minnesota have exceeded 6 million gallons. 

On an annualized basis, E15 sales in Minnesota would hit 71 million gallons, well above the 59.4 million gallons achieved in 2018. 

As for other blends of ethanol, E85 sales in May totaled 1.29 million gallons. Year-to-date, E85 sales was at 5.75 million gallons.
