The volume registered in January was the fifth consecutive month E15 sales have grown in Minnesota. 

It was also the fourth straight month E15 sales in Minnesota have been above 5 million gallons. 

In 2018, E15 sales in Minnesota hit an all-time high of 59.4 million gallons, nearly three times the volume sold the year before.

As for other blends of ethanol sold in Minnesota, E85 sales in January was 1.25 million gallons, slightly lower than the 1.28 million gallons recorded in December.

In 2018, E85 sales in Minnesota totaled 16.49 million gallons.
