In a report from the Minnesota Department of Commerce, E15 sales in October was 70 percent higher than the volume recorded the previous month (320,729 gallons).
However, it should be noted that the bulk of E15 sales in September would have occured in the second half of the month as the EPA-imposed Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) ban on E15 only ended on Sept 15.
October's volume was also 12 percent higher than the volume recorded in October 2015 (481,926 gallons).
On a 10-month basis, a total of 4.09 million gallons of E15 has been sold in Minnesota this year, 32 percent higher than the volume sold for the whole of 2015 (3.09 million gallons).
