According to an analysis by the University of Illinois at Chicago, if all fuel consumed in Minnesota was E15, 358,000 tons of CO2 would be eliminated annually. This is the equivalent of removing 75,368 cars from our roads annually.

It is important to note, however, is that this is the CO2 savings achieved from migrating our fuel to E15 from E10 currently. If you factor in the CO2 savings from E0 to E15, we're looking at 1.07 million tons of CO2 annually. That, in turn, is the equivalent of removing 225,895 cars from our roads per annum.

So, celebrate Earth Day 2016 with some gallons of E15!
