How Much CO2 Could We Remove If E15 Was The Regular?

With E15 back on sale, we prepared this video to remind everyone of the environmental benefits of using E15.

As we've previously said, if the EPA is truly serious about cutting greenhouse gas emissions, then it should stick with the original RVOs in the RFS and make E15 the new regular! Last month, the EPA announced new regulations to cut methane emissions from oil and gas production.

While the move should be commended, it should also be noted that it would cost the oil industry $420 million to comply with the new regulations. But making E15 the new regular wouldn't cost anywhere near that amount since National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) says almost all fuel dispensing infrastructure components in the country are compatible with E15.

So if the EPA is willing to force the oil industry to spend $420 million to comply with its new methane emission regulations, why can't it force them to make E15 the new regular?
